Laura Lynn Terlizzi
Laura is an award-winning Registered Therapeutic Counsellor working in private practice in British Columbia, Canada; supporting clients locally and internationally, in-person and online. Also an artist, writer, and speaker, Laura likes to help others by offering a calm, compassionate, sometimes playful, always natural connection. Although talk therapy is the foundation, Laura will often incorporate different forms of expressive arts to help others discover, honour and express their experience and essence. Surrounded by natural West Coast elements, being in touch with nature and one's core being is also a vital element to the approach.
Laura has a particular interest in developmental psychology and neuroscience. She finds it helps to explain and understand what is happening and why, removing judgments, shame, or blame to find healing and prevent further trauma or pain.
Laura continues to educate herself, however, also draws from personal experiences to reach and support both children and adults.
