Karen Drynan
With over 17 years experience as a Child and Youth Care Counselor, Karen is passionate about connecting, building relationships, and working within a harm reduction philosophy. A certified member of the Child and Youth Care Association of Alberta, member of The Association of Counselling Therapy of Alberta, certified in Compassionate Inquiry in 2020, and Executive Director of the Old Strathcona Youth Society, Karen has trained in Trauma Informed Practice, Harm Reduction, Suicide Intervention, and working with members of the LGBTQ2S+ community.
Located in the greater Edmonton, Alberta, Canada area, Karen has experience working with high-risk and street involved youth and adults, relationship concerns, and addictions.
