Julie Cassidy
Julie is Registered Social Worker providing Compassionate Inquiry sessions to clients at her private practice located in Nipawin, Saskatchewan. Julie has specialized experience in working with those who have experienced trauma, domestic violence, and/or sexualized violence. Julie's passion is working alongside individuals, couples, and groups for healing, creating healthy relationships and healthier communities. We can all learn to love better! Healing comes through connection and Julie strives to create a healthy connection with those she works with.
Julie has training in a variety of approaches such as Trauma Informed Care, Motivational Interviewing, CBT/DBT, Solutions Focused Brief Therapy, Narrative Therapy and Nature Therapy. Julie also is a facilitator and offers groups within her community and virtually in the areas of First Responders to Sexual Assault and Abuse, Anger Management, and Trauma Informed Care.
Located in the North East of Saskatchewan, Julie enjoys being in nature and allowing nature into sessions whenever possible. Julie is committed to lifelong learning and you can be sure to find her exploring and engaged in opportunities to continue her learning and broadening her knowledge.
